Our Exile Range just keeps on delivering the goodies – this time for our Exile 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon. It just received a 4 STAR rating in the July/August issue of Winestate Magazine’s Cabernet Sauvignon tasting which read, “Terrific varietal fruit and excellent oak. Lovely, seamless, palate balance; great weight of lifted berry fruit. Plenty of acid. Drink now or in eight years.” In the 200+ category ,wines were tasted from across the globe and this is what the judges had to say about the wines tasted; “Magnificent! Fabulous line-up with wines showing balance, structure and length, the pinnacle of red wines!” We were actually the only Australian wine to get a place in the top ten, putting us up there with some of France’s best and most expensive drops including – Chateau Mouton Rothschild ($718 a bottle), Chateau Latour Pauillac ($1139 a bottle), Chateau Haut-Brion ($866 a bottle) Chateau Margaux Premier Grand Cru ($1140 a bottle). A stunning result!
